Good to know you're still seeing the bright side of things! I'm also glad I can offer a little inspiration with my 3D work! It's taken me a year to get where I am with the 3D so really it doesn't take too long to get the hang of it if you put the hours in every day, although having said this I still have A LOT to learn!

I would love to see your work in 3D, I think it would actually carry accross very well as it's pretty stylised and bold!

At least you have your Wacom left anyhow. Do you have an Intuos? I have been pondering whether or not to invest in an Intuos4. The pen nibs wear down rather quickly on them though because their surface is more like paper. I have a Graphire, it's pretty old and doesn't have many levels of sensitvity/pressure as I'd like when I'm painting.

Yeah, I read that about the intuos4. It's probably just a way to keep you buying product until the next big update.
I hear that i4's are really, really good though. The hotkey feature means you don't have to use a keyboard whilst working :o

I have a seven year old intuos 2. it's a bit melted from where i rested a lightbox on it, and the pen is held together with glue, but it does the job.
I reckon I'll buy a new one after I reach a few goals - so I reward myself rather than just throw money at something in the hope it will substitute hard work.

Whoops, One day I'll bother to read all the shizzle before post encouragement. that sucks man. You know they left the wacom coz hey either didn't know what it was or because they knew it was 8 years old :P Mines still hanging in there..but only just.

I lost all my work last year, not as tragic as yours mind. I backed up....I reformatted...checked the backup...back up was dead...FAIL

least on the bright side you did post some work here (not best res but still usable online)
